ABOUT THE YOUTH COUNT
Every year, Los Angeles estimates how many young people are experiencing homelessness. The data collected informs funding and resource allocation. It serves as a powerful advocacy tool for potential donors, policy briefs, and many other spaces to support in creating solutions to end youth homelessness.
The Los Angeles Youth Count is coordinated by Young People to the Front, led by Dr. Robin Petering, in partnership with the University of Southern California (USC) Suzanne Dworak Peck School of Social Work, and Los Angeles Homelessness Services Authority (LAHSA).
